Private Consultation Fees

We want to make our fees as clear and transparent as possible. Please see below for information about consultations, treatments, insurance, and prescriptions.

 

Consultation Fees
Dr Idrovo’s fees are:

• New patient consultation: £300
  (This also applies if you have not seen Dr Idrovo within the last 12 months).
• Follow-up appointment: £200

 

Injectable Treatment Fees

Injectable treatments are only offered following a consultation and agreement with Dr Idrovo.

• Injectable treatment fee: £400

 

Please note that injectable treatments also have additional hospital charges for the medication used. These are currently approximately:

• Nerve blocks: £160
• Botox injections: £450

 

These costs can change, so we recommend contacting the hospital when booking your treatment to confirm the current charge.

 

Insurance

If you would like to see Dr Idrovo through your private medical insurance, we currently accept:

• AXA
• Vitality
• WPA
• Healix

Insurance fees are charged in line with the reimbursement rates agreed with your insurer. We recommend checking with your insurer before booking an appointment to confirm that your treatment is covered.

 

Prescription Fees
From September 2026, a prescription fee will apply when a repeat prescription is requested outside of an appointment.

If a private prescription is provided during a new or follow-up appointment, there will be no additional prescription fee.

 

For repeat prescriptions requested without an appointment, the following fees apply per prescription:

• £50 – prescriptions containing a monoclonal antibody injection, such as Emgality or Ajovy
• £25 – all other repeat prescriptions

 

These fees cover the clinical review and prescribing of medication when a prescription is requested without an accompanying consultation or follow-up appointment.
